Tough question for multiple machine owners.

Isn't the Eldorado same as the Vaq with the exception of the tone on it? Now don't get me wrong, if I found a clean and mint Eldorado, I would buy it to add to the aresnal!

Not quite...

Eldorado has the full "ED180" disc range, toggle for all-metal / disc / battery check, a lower 10kHz transmit frequency, no pinpoint button and a nicer audio tone. It's not the same machine as the Vaquero.
No Tesoro collection is complete without one (or two..).

Pinenut, hook me up on one ;)

I'm hanging on to both of mine.
They do show up on ebay every couple of months though, and often sell for about what a used Cibola does. Worth picking up a nice one if the price is right.

Man that's a lot of Tesoros!----When do you find time to use 'em all? :)

The newer, plastic housing Eldorado. I like it better than the Vaquero, which replaced it.

Deeptech Vista smart.....Name says it all... My most favorite, I loved tesoros but this machine has done better for me in the style of hunting I do....Mostly old home sites where I want to dig everything that isn't iron. And a Fisher Cz 5 or 6....Hits hard on deep round thingies ! My favorite old park machine. BooM
