Can someone give me some information and opinions on the Toltec II, I am trading for one and have never used one.
 
Was at best a mediocre coin detector, not one of Tesoro's best in my opinion. Generally, any detector Tesoro makes is a good detector, but this model just didn't cut it around our area. The earlier Toltec 100 and 80 were outstanding models. I found the 100s ID meter to be the most accurate I have ever used. Maybe in your area the II will perform better than here in the middle TN area. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
