I got out for about 2 hours this morning. Went to some little league fields here in Princess Anne, Md. Clad is all 1972 or newer. Ring is 14 kt electroplate.

What would the markings for an electroplate be as opposed to solid? I can usually tell if an item is plated but they would have no marks. Whats the difference?
With that being asked....Congrats on the hunt. nice ring. I love rings they are the funnest things for me to find. fake or not.

This ring was marked 14 kt. ge. I checked online and found out that is what the ge was for. This was my first ring.

Most of the time a ring will simply say 10K 14K 18K 22K nothing after to suggest anything else. The other thing to notice with gold is it will look great no matter how long its been in the ground. Dan
