Today I found my first Indian head.... kind of?

The quarter is in the pic for perspective but the light about washes the detail so you cant even tell what it is. It came from a park in a neighboring small town.

With a magnifying glass you can make out a date of 1903 on the IH. Anything significant about that date?

when I pulled that out of the ground it was caked with dirt and I fully expected to clean it off and find a swastika on the circle. It just looked like a 'German insignia of some sort.
