Not A sewing needle. Was in this open position but can be inserted in to the end. Rang up 40-41 on legend. Found at site dates from 1790s-1920s

Appears to be an early cable-tie. Definitely machine made.

I wonder if it would change the value it rang up as if it were straightened out.
