Threshold and low volume audio response

Now just about every manual tells you to adjust your threshold volume just audible, because it would mask low volume targets.
Yep I really agree with that.

But sometimes you need to raise threshold volume to combat ambient noise.

Now here comes the question.
When a target get's signalled does the CTX cut out the threshold volume and pitch just like the X-Terra 705??
In effect a fraction of a second before the target audio comes through the treshold signal fades away.
Thus enabling a different low volume target signal to have a different pitch than the threshold.

A more crisp computerized signal than the E-trac stated in other threads??

If it does, then you adjust threshold on the CTX like on a gold prospecting machine.
Give it some volume, adjust pitch to maximum audible, then run down the volume to mosquito in the bedroom.
Perfect for your hearing on that specific day.
