Three Centuries of Coins from the Soccer Field!

Got back there this morning. One of my first signals was a penny/dime at 1 inch. I was thinking that the pinpoint was a bit large for a penny or dime, but was still surprised when a nice copper was hiding right under the turf!

Around that same time the girl's soccer team started to show up so I hit an adjacent field. Within a few minutes I got another penny/dime reading at around 7 inches. My buddy just got an e-trac and was using the auto sensitivity setting and could not hear the coin or any change in his threshold. I have dug many Barber dimes, but this is by far the nicest one so far!

A short while later I got another coin, this one a Large Cent around 8 inches deep.

I haven't had a day like this in a long time!

Cool finds. I like your friend in the background, he's very "supportive," haha. Listening to your video reminds me of when my best friend and I hunt together. Great finds and good luck with the rest of that field, clearly you found a great spot! HH -Marc

Congratulations Neil, I thought there would be more than buttons there and I bet you have just scratched the surface.

Looking good!

I new there had to be some silver there nice barber. If there is one there is more time to hammer the soccer field.:twodetecting::whites::cheers:

You always have some good stuff to post up. Lots of history here in the Northeast.
I enjoy your videos. The large cent looked like it was down a ways. Broken signal? How deep was it?

It was a solid signal around 79-80, about 8 inches down, as measured by my pinpointer.
