This thing actually works:blink:.................

Now your getting technical

I have some Hot Orange and Neon Chartreuse from the BBQ temp poker and turkey fryer thermometer - can get colorful.
I think your on a roll -
Maybe you have some idea on my pouches I posted in Modification section - you making me want to do something to them:poke:

OK Tabdog, we're gonna have to put you up for the creativity and innovation award!
Maybe you could get a fancy prize like algore ;)

Have you considered a CS coil for the type of detecting you do?
I REALLY like mine. Major improvement in time spent going across an open grassy sports field.

It is definitely a heavier coil to use, but takes SO much less time for unproductive areas but they do pinpoint very well.

I have a 12X10 concentric I can use in open areas. It goes real deep on some artifacts/relics. It's also very sensitive for a large coil.

The bad thing about bigger coils is more weight.

I'll probably be getting my award soon.

I may get to meet Al Gore. I already know Bill Clinton and Mike Huckaby. They are from around here.

We Arky's are coming up in the world.

Ha Tab-Nabit,

Thanks for the colorful tip. As in switch tip...lol

I have a leather pouch like that. How did you attach the PVC. I need more holders on mine.

Cheers,

Well ya got me on that Tabdog - well not really...... I didn't attach them because I bought them the way they are. :poke:
They are the Sun Ray Deluxe Treasure Pouch of heavy leather and the PVC tubes can be on either side, left or right pouch.
The tubes are riveted near the top and near the bottom of each tube. I'm not sure if mine are considered the left-handed or the right-handed pouch. But I see mine are both the same. I guess I'll have to figure that one out, then get two more pouches of the opposite handed side, because sometimes I use both pouches. My fishing vest and a fanny pack along with one or two of the pouches works for me on relic hunts when the vehicle is not near. Anyway the pouch is a heavy leather with heavy stitching and riveted for extra strength. I have about a half dozen or so other pouches of different types that are good for newbie tag along folks, but I prefer these leather pouches.
I got mine new locally less than 40 bucks and they have served me well.

I can see that your pouches are higher quality than mine. I got mine at Lowe's Hardware. It is not as heavy duty, only has one smaller pocket and two loops.

My favorite is a heavy duty cloth pouch that's deeper and has more pockets and loops. I also have a belt loop to hold my shovel. I can carry more if needed.

Happy New Year,
