Idk it might be newer than civil war, only reason I say this: is that bullet appears to have cannulure lines on it. I did not think any civil war bullets had cannulures. I may be wrong.

Yeah I'm not sure on cannulures time line. I know your civil war bullets have wax rings for lubrication. Aka 2 ringer, 3 ringer, I'm no civil war expert thou. So maybe somebody with more knowledge might step in & clarify.
