The V3 Video is Ready and Here!!

I've got dirt very similar to what they have up in northern Virginia. All VLF machines will do that in my dirt...you're lucky if you get a machine to read with a positive VDI at all. Normally you have to go strictly by audio and just hope you can tell the difference between nails and other stuff. I was very impressed with the V3s ability to show up with positive VDIs even on the deeper targets. I've had it out a lot since filming that video and I want a V3 so bad I can't stand it now.

I notice you are an Explorer machine user. I had an Explorer II for a couple of years, and in my soil, you had to run it basically in all metal wide open. It's been a while since I had an Explorer in my hands, so I may not get this exactly right, but I ran it from -16 on...where I could hear everything. In my bullet site you see in my videos, it would read every bullet there as iron. And I actually gave up on that site as being clean as a whistle cause I could come in there and not get hardly any signals anymore. When I sold my ExII for the F-75, I got an eye opener then. My first trip there I dug over 30 bullets, followed up by 30 something more my next trip. And even after all that, with hunting the TDI in there too and pulling more out....I go back with the V3 and get enough to do that video with, and that was only in an hour. I had a half hour to kill earlier this week and dug 7 there in a half hour.

From the amount of good reports I've had on the video...I think that's free publicity for Whites on their V3 and I think I should get some kind of royalty gift for that LOL.

Excellent video, thanks! Keep up the good work.

Hey Daniel, good job with the video!

Are you able to hunt the same site with an F75-LTD? I'd be interested in your opinion of that machine running in the new "BP" mode.

Keep up the good work.

I'll be honest with you, as I have nothing to lose or gain from it. The LTD did not work out for me. The BP mode on the LTD is equivalent to the TX Boost setting on the V3. If you can find a site clean enough, with soil good enough to use it...than you will see great results. Otherwise, it's like running your headlights on HI beam in a heavy fog. The LTD in that site did not fare too well. BP mode was so erratic and noisy I backed it down to regular modes.

If I had the money right now to get a new F-75 or a V3, I would own a V3 of my own. And I loved the F-75.
