with the exception of rings & chains, I would not post anything except clad and some older coins. If I started finding a lot of relics or gold coins worth over $100.00, I probably would not post it. At least until I was satisfied the area I was detecting had no caches or valuable relics. I don't know how to use the pc to find people, but a lot of people do and if you post something very valuable, you are putting yourself and your location at risk.
Two scriptures come to mind.
(1) A known foe is a curse, but a pretend friend is worse.
(2) Don't let your left hand know what your right hands doing.

Nice finds Ranger!! Your question is a good one. I'll have to give it some thought. Can you tell the brand of the knife? does look pretty rusty ( I was a knife dealer some years ago) but thats a great find!!

:usaflag:I have tons of junk and clad that I have'nt posted here. An occasional old coin or something out of the ordinary would be worthy of public view.

If I had to answer I'd probably say around $1000. So what did you find that's so valuable?
