The real secret of making fit the Spectra ...

The real secret of making fit the Spectra is the proper management of filters and use a single frequency!
and find the best coil for that land !

I disagree on using a single frequency, as that depends on your application. I tend to look for coins, and I find the 3 frequencies to be very helpful
in identifying coins vs trash, and jewelry versus trash. (especially in the analyze mode) I think changing your coil is also very helpful for greater separation
in trashy areas, but I'd still stick with 3 frequencies.

Single frequency can give a bit more depth if searching for a particular type of target at it's optimum frequency in the right conditions. I think thats what Mario is saying.

Single frequency has it's advantages, but i also like the three frequency mode for the kind of hunting do.

I have noticed when Park hunting for Recently Lost Jewelry, using a Single Frequency keeps the VDI numbers more stable.

Funny, but in my area Best Data gives more stable results, especially on deeper targets.
