the Nox recovers so fast if there is a target near iron you will hear the non-ferrous tone

When you are around large steel playground equipment, or posts, or concrete with reinforcement rebar/wire like a basketball court, then turn your sensitivity down low. Maybe around 6 and this will allow you to get closer to the objects without setting off your detector. It will still retain adequate depth to find lots of loot.
