[quote Bill Ladd]but I can say that "delta pitch" sounds like an explorer kinda. The best way to describe it is each number has its own pitch, & the higher the conductivity or ID #, the higher the pitch. Some people who rely on tones might really like it........but in a trashy site it will sounds like music
There are many tone options on the F70 which is cool that they didn't scale back from the F75......
I know that intro video is kinda dry & boring........but the fun stuff will be the actual hunt. Youtube only allowed me less than 10 min.....

Bill I went to the dark side and bought a Minelab multifreq Sovereign, and I'm starting to learn the music. To be honest, I like it. It can be a bit much in a trashy sites (you have to go really slow), and it's on the heavy side, but there doesn't seem to be a all-in-one do-everything-great metal detector yet, so if I could have just two, I'd be a happy camper....that's possible right
With an audio based machine you rely a lot less on the TID #'s unless you get an iffy signal and then the display might be helpful. I have dug a few keepers purely based on audio that I probably wouldn't have dug based just on TID. I'm glad to see they give you so many options on the audio, that's awesome ! I believe I see an F70 in my future
I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on how the F70 compares to the Coinstrike ?
Thanks,
Brian
