been hunting last few weeks with my old frankensplorer. made a change today and carried my excal II. dug lots of targets, must i would not have dug with expII.

That thing stamped 14k. What the heck is It? I found something similarly shaped Sat but it had no stamp, gave a great tone but I figured it for junk. May have tossed it too.???
 
if that is the only part that is gold.

we say we found a gold earring, but it it........................usually that is the only thing marked.

advice needed
 
My understanding from jeweler is if post is marked then the unit is real or as marked in post. You have a gold earring from what I have been told by several people in the business fo jewelery. NIce finds
