Z- Oh I'm sure there will be lots more "competitions" between us, just for laughs though.I think we make pretty good hunting partners. I'm alittle more familiar with the area & history, but Terri is hands-down better at researching & digging-up info......reminds me too much of school
Elton- lol, nope, she lost....plain & simple
I sang "We are the Champions" all the way home that day
This was just one battle in the continuing war though....
All joking aside, we'd had a hunt where the only thing found all day was an 1851 (or '53?) large-cent by Terri. I was tickled to death for her (I went home & cried alone
I've found some "odds & ends", lotsa clad, and a few rings since getting my Ace in August, and I've been real happy in finding what I have, but am really gunning for some old coins, I think I've only found 1 (maybe 2) that were silver. Terri's been at this alot longer than I have, so she's paid more in the ways of "dues".
lol, we've been emailing info back & forth researching sites for spring hunts, and have already come-up with a number of possibillities, plus we still have alot of wintery days unfit for anything but researching. I really feel that we'll find some good spots & make some great finds when spring rolls back-around (just not soon enough).
Smitty
They'd raised to snow possibillities to 17", we got 2.5-3" today, and the bulk is supposed to come overnite, an additional 8-12", so I don't think we're gonna get quite as much as initially predicted. I'd rather have snow than freezing rain, less chance of power outages.....and I didn't want to have to fire-up the generator.
