the garret ace 250 is a cheap machine but...

first time I saw one I was impressed that so much was incorporated at that price. Quite the value for the price. One day a woman found gold nuggets at one of those camps when all the other machines were skunked and that includes the big guns from ML! A whole lot easier to swing too I might add. I think the yeller feller has done more to introduce the hobby in recent years than any machine in a long time.

Won an Ace 250 at a club contest. Amazed at how small an item it will detect with the 6X9 coil. Falls through the sand scoop at times. Am getting to appreciate it's capability each day. Great for parks, tots lots, dry sand ,,,I don;t use it on wet salt beaches. Copperking, FL
 
I have had them all down to a Tesoro umax and just got a Ace 250 and just love it :detecting:
