The Friendly Giant

I received a catalog from Keene Engineering. I'm pretty impressed with their HydroAir hookah system. I emailed them a few questions to see if it is made the way I want it. (I need a piston-type diaphragm compressor, for one thing) so I expect to hear back from them pretty soon.

They boast that their unit will support one diver to 75 feet and that run time can be expected to be between 2 and 4 hours. If that is true, then the little twin compressors put out a lot of air.

I gave 'em about 8 questions to answer so we'll see what it's made of. I don't mind paying more for a top-notch set-up, but if that system is all it's cracked up to be then I'll certainly consider it.

I like electric because it is quiet and there is zero chance for air contamination. I'll keep you informed via PM.

Hang in there.
