:shrug: Everything we do has some degree of risk. Driving to the beach is probably the riskyiest thing. When my head is under water I can see to defend myself. I have 40 years of diving and much of that was with sharks of some kind nearby. It'ss sort of an aclimation process to feel comfortable with them and to know when to leave. Tigers, as would White Pointers, get me out of the water fast when present. I have only seen one Tiger in 16 years of underwater detecting. Those abundant sting rays and "giant men of war" down in the gulf scare me.

I did catch a Box Jelly once that put me in the hospital. That hurt.
