This watch was a gift that came with your purchase of a vehicle from Bentley Motors (my folks got one when they bought their Jaguar from Bentley Motors in Toronto), but you can buy them just the same.
Not a $7,000 watch but who really needs a watch that expensive anyway. Heck, I'd be afraid to wear it in case I lost it while I was at the beach and some :ranting:metal detectorist came along and found it.:rofl:

Nice Find for Sure:thumbup::thumbup:

I looked at this website and went no further

You are correct bdahunter. Big difference in a Bently and a Bentley watch. Spelling is important. I need to go back to school. Anyway, it makes me feel better about my Rolex Submariner that was only a meager $3000 find.:surrender:

I had assumed that it was a knock off. You assumed it was real. If you're right then I am surprised at the retail pricing as this was a giveaway watch with the purchase of a Jaguar at Bentley Motors a few years ago. It sure looks similar to the one my folks got, I'll have to call Canada and find out.
I sure hope it's real, Bulgarian can check the serial numbers to find out.

Cheers,

What beaches did you say you frequent?? Remember to wear lots of suntan lotion especially on the wrists, wouldn't want you to get a bad sunburn.:lol::lol:

:wiggle:I posted the photo about a month ago. forgot when so here it is again. I have worn it a couple times only and never to the beach. Now I an looking for the gold one with diamonds in the face. I know where it was lost but the surf is soo big and hunting is nearly impossible. Bottom is all big rocks and crevices.

I have been in less than 2 feet of water with three foot waves overhead and it is amazingly calm. I used goggles and just held my breath to stay beneath the turbulence. The visibility isn't that bad either.

If you know the general area then maybe try a dive shaft and fan out the Rolex. I would.

Here is their site although I don't see your model there, they may have discontinued it.

I am a diver fanner. The area has 8 foot wave faces most of the year, seldom less than 3 feet faces. Water depth varies from 4 to 8 feet deep depending on which bolder you are standing on. Visibility is a problem with this much action. sand and bubbles churned up make it worse than working in a washing machine. I went in one day right after it was lost with SCUBA and 60 Lbs of lead strapped on. The lady who called me said she had just bought it for her husband. Would not give the real cost but when I asked her if it was $10K she just said Higher. I tried for two days to locate it but then surf picked up to 10 foot faces and I was getting beat up as well as the equipment. 3 days later a young body surfer lost his leg in the exact area to a Tiger Shark. I tried again a week after that and since have not been back. I keep waiting for the unusual day when all flattens out. This spot is a famous body surfing beach/point. I have the address of the people and I would love to return it to them. I am afraid that one of the large boulders might have crushed it as they tumble in the surf.

Nice bunch of watches on this post! Goldringer, you are game getting back into the water after a tiger bot the boy's leg! Actually, where I go snorkling for old bottles, a lot of bronzies have been sighted. They used to say they're not aggresive, until last summer, one shark hit a small boat full of little kids. I guess it was hungry! I'll be heading to the beach again after several months away, for three glorious days detecting. Can't wait!:)

If you send your Seiko to them they will repair them. I have sent two dive watches to them and they repaired them for about $80. I now have two watches that are worth $300.

Hope this helps.
