wow built in GPS! wireless audio! Full color display! Neato

Here we go ! It has a clock on it :clapping: I hope its light weight !

Yes! PC mapping? FeCo Discrimination?

n/t

Any info on the weight, etc?

I am sure glad I didn't get an XP! No offense,But if I am going to spend that kind of money I would rather have a Detector brand I am familiar with. And I only live 20 minutes from their repair facility!

Hmmm ! CTX3030 ---- full waterproof FBS detector ..... but not just FBS --- FBS2 ! SmartFind 2 ... FE/CO just like the E-Trac (now, will it be the same as the E-Trac, or will it have a new mapping scale ?)
Also, wireless headphones ! Oh, and a nice looking slim digital display with what looks like to be an improved one over that of the E-Trac / Explorer, its a full COLOR display !

But, look at that battery compartment on the end of the shaft !

I wonder if the coil is also wireless ?

GPS Tracking, PC Mapping, hmm !

5 pounds 3 ounces from european site

Please please tell me you are joking! That is not possible.

Bummer. I was hoping there'd be some new technology. This is just whistles and bells. Not "deeper" or ability to TID any differently than before, etc..... I mean, heck, we could wrap out explorers in plastic and accomplish this. Not that "whistles and bells" don't sell, of course (I am tired of wrapping my explorer for beach storm hunting yet prefer Exp. over Excal for the beach). So for that purpose, it's welcome, but ..... nothing new as far as tech. goes.

Not revolutionary, but a lot of improvements over the E-Trac. This looks like it has the potential to replace both the E-Trac and the Excal for many users.

That all depends on the Retail Price .... it might be out of some peoples reach if they're asking more $$$ for than what the E-Trac sells for right now.

While I'm there on that note, they should lower the price on the E-Trac.

Drool on this!

I'd still like to try it.
:twodetecting:

I actually think the interactive GPS route tracking feature would be really useful for those of us who like to wander. From the pictures, it looks like you can mark finds along your route, which is pretty cool.

Given that, I probably do not want to know the retail price on one of these will be. It took me a lot of time and cash to trade and trade and trade up to the ETrac.
