The best totlot units?

Mike, if I would look for a Tesoro Golden Umax. Light, responsive, and highly accurate. I know you have probably had one and I can't believe Tesoro quit making them, but I absolutely loved the two I owned. A great gold jewelery detector to boot. R.L.

Just to follow up. I don't know if its a fluke or not but I was turf hunting with some EMI and tried a few settings and that setting of DST on 9.0 with the F1 frequency on that 5x10 DD coil got it real quiet. Impressed, on the way home from that hunt I stopped by a totlot that has a lot of EMI. Totally stable even in FA mode at 99 sensitivity. Tried another location totlot location a couple of days later and it was quiet there too.

I know I should experiment with the settings some more but I'm so happy with these settings that I decided not to touch them. They are working at both the turf and playground locations so I'm just leaving that set.

Case closed for me. F75 it is.
