the 6X8 SEF not really doing it for me..

I am a e-trac user and have used the 6x8 extensively and I must agree with most of the comments here about the positive results. I have had a problem with the connection cable going into the machine. One of the wires broke and I had to repair it. Since that repair I have nothing but positive things to say about the coil. I have used it for about four years now.

thanks guys... the coil is just about amonth old so I'll call Kellyco, I have been learning target separation with my stock coil and have been getting pretty good at pulling coins right near iron or other trash... a smaller coil that would separate even better is why I bought the 6x8... but when on it is way less noisy in a semi open screen than the stock coil, also it won't give me a good solid tone on a east target (2-4") like the stock coil does.

I have had 2 - 6x8 SEFs and found both the 5x10WSS by Detech and the NEL Sharpshooter to be equal to or better than the 6x8 in both separation and depth and give you a tad more coverage. If you do an exchange or return to Kellyco , don't rule out swapping the 6x8 for either of those coils without further investigation.
