Received the 2500 today, didn't even bother reading the book, to excited, just turned it on and went with factory coin mode, same as I did with competitors machine on first hunt, was especially impressed with its ability to lock on solid on target ID, and the bell sound it produced on coins, dug 2 dimes at 3-4" and they ID correctly, same with a quarter at 4"+, pennies also, at least it locked solid, thats more than I can say for the other machine, now I'll do some studing of the book and DVD, I think you were all correct, this machine far exceeds whites, and I'm sure that it will get even better, Should have listened to My Wife the first time, hope to get out to the ghost town, soon, if the weather will permit, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR IMPUT.
