Tesoro Vaquero, or Outlaw?

My Vaquero must be a little different than others. I usually use very little disc. When i hit a target I thumb it up and pull tabs almost always give a crackle ,double blip , somewhere around foil and nickle. I have never heard another person report this.The pull tab itself will not disc out until later . There are always exceptions and I usually dig them anyhow but they are one of the easier things that i can ID with a Vaq and stock coil.

Yes exactly, I am surprised when I read people call Tesoros "beep and dig machines". to me they really are not. Learn the Tesoro language and the machine and you can be pretty discriminating about what you dig. But Hatpin, with my Vaq I do dig quite a few pull tabs but at least I know in advance when they are probably pull tabs. I think that things like small womens gold rings can come in at that range and might also give a touch of that same crackle. Old thread sorry

I own multiple tesoros including a Vaquero, Eldorado, Cibola, Bandido micromax and 2 compadres. I have a Deus and at pro and the tesoros get the more use with the Vaq getting the brunt of the work. The Vaquero is an excellent machine and if I could only have one tesoro it would be the Vaq or the eldorado. Get the Vaquero.
