Thanks. I like them both a lot. Tesoro is my go to detector when searching for gold jewelry and relics. The Outlaw does a great job finding silver coins, but the Omega does a little better job when searching for them in trashy areas with the 5 x 10 DD coil. You won't go wrong getting the Tesoro Outlaw. It's runs quiet, has good depth and finds stuff that other detectors leave behind.

Big Brown to deliver my Outlaw today, i have used the Sand Shark for about two years on the beach in California and absolutely love this Tesoro machine expecting the same love affair with the Outlaw.

I have a new Sand Shark and am about to start hunting the beach at Pismo. At what water depth, do you find most of your targets? I have been hunting the wet sand, but am not finding much. Should I move on out into the 1-2' water at low tide?

Thanks
Luke

I hunt Pismo a lot and so does a hundred other people, it is getting less and less finding rings and even a lot of clad. I hunt the wet with the sand shark on low tides but have found most between high water mark and water line.

I would like to meet up with you sometime in fact i will be here until Sunday the 25th if you happen to be here.

I know, I know... This is an old thread, but Tabman, this was the post I needed to read! Definitely going for the Outlaw.
