Tesoro Golden uMax first time out goes BIG

Just got the Golden a day or two ago. I set up a test garden in the back yard and practiced a little while. Today the weather was perfect so the family and I decided to go tectin'. We hit a few fields I have been researching and here are my good finds. A ton of junk was dug but mostly due to me learning the tones at first. I got my first ever LARGE CENT after a couple hours into it. Unfortunately it is so worn and destroyed from plow blades it has no cash value. But it is priceless for me because it is my first EVER. I included pics. The first solo coin shot you can read one cent in the center. On the second solo is the front of the coin. Not much to be read, I can sort of make out a faint star and (i may be imagining it) but in the pic around 1130-1200 position I think I see a number 8. Any suggestions to clean it up a little?

Cool find! I'd be proud of it too, even if it is kinda beat up.

Way to go! A large cent is on my wish list.

Thanks guys. At first I thought it was a clad quarter. I was shocked when I saw one cent on reverse. 15 years tectin' and this is my oldest coin by a long shot. I have not even found Indian head yet
lol

Great find! And think about the fact that you didn't need to spend $1000 or more to find it! Keep the pics coming.
