Tesoro customer service/warranty is UNBEATABLE

It's been said before,,,but this kind of customer service and warranty repair is so rare in today's world it needs to be commended every time it happens.
I sent in a 25 year old Silver Sabre Plus in horrible condition from sitting in the garage from my late fathers house. Rusty did a major overhaul on the circuit board and replaced two resisters, gave me a new battery door and holder, soldered a new battery lead on and tuned it up THEN SHIPPED IT back ALL AT NO COST !!!!! Additionally he called to ask if I had the armrest (I took it off for shipping) and offered a new one of those for no charge. Rusty also spent a good 45 min to an hour talking with me filling me with good MD tid-bits and advice.
People this is what being a customer based company is ALL about !!! As long as Tesoro keeps making quality products and backing them the way they do today,,,,,they will see EVERY MD dollar I can send thier way....it's that simple for me,,,,,,,,,,
WTG Rusty and Tesoro !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS AGAIN !!!!!!
Now off to compare the 25 year veteran machine with the new silver uMax I bought a few weeks ago,,,,,HH all !!!!!
 
Warranties are something you hope you never need, but it's a nice feeling to know they're there!

the damage was caused by humidity,,,,,,improper storage. It is not covered under the Tesoro warranty,,,,but as Rusty stated in the letter to me,,,,,customer service trumps all and they fixed it for NO CHARGE,,,,,got to love that !!!!!!!!!!
 
Now that's just great! Was your machine stored over a cement floor? I have a workshop outside that I keep my machines in, but it's stick-built with wood flooring. Guess I ought to bring them inside the house.

Treat them like you would ANY expensive electronics,,,would you put your big new flat screen or high dollar stereo or computer put in the garage with no heat or moisture protection?
 
just got my diablo II back --can,t say enough good about there service---it,s a rare thing in this day and age---sold on tesoro---thanks rusty @ team
 
i'm having a good time with my vaquero and have no need for a metered detector yet but will buy one when tesoro comes out with one. my hope is that it will be updated and easy to use and A LIFETIME WARRANTEE!!!!!!
