Well it had one silver coin in the coin spill.
I spent most of the morning digging trash and a clad coins before I found a really hot spot. It was a small area between some sidewalks and a driveway. Right off, I dug a Buffalo Nickel and couple of Wheat Pennies. Next I got a really good audio signal that said 'dig me'. I popped a Buffalo Nickel which I love to find. I rescanned the hole and got another good audio tone. I knew there was a very good chance of it being a silver coin. Nope, a Wheat Penny. I rescanned the hole again and got yet another good audio signal. No silver, just another Wheat Penny. I rescanned the hole again and got no audio response, so I decided to replace the plug. When doing so, I noticed some stains on a clump of dirt that fell off the main plug. I broke it open and found two more Wheat Pennies. I put the plug back in the hole and rescanned again and got a soft audio response. I pulled the plug back out and found a Mercury dime right in the bottom of the plug that was heavily stained from being next to those other coins. I ended up finding a 1942 Mercury Dime, a 1928 Portuguese Escudo Liberty Head, a couple of Buffalo Nickels (1933, 1937), a bunch of clad coin, nine Wheat Pennies (1926,1941, 1944, 1920, 1940, 1927, 1942, 1946, 1918 ), and what I think might be a black lucky cat pendant.
It sure had my heart plumbing really fast there for a moment. I decided to call it a short day and go back tomorrow and find a really big silver coin spill. Yelp, my Genie worked her magic again today.
I'm really loving my Cibola and Sharpshooter coil duo.
Same settings as always.
