Picked this up in the middle of the woods inpouring down rain. NO WORRIES AT PRO is water proof!!! OH and I have a towek=l to dry off with. LOL It's a great detector!!

El I was working a spot on the entrance to the beach that is so loaded with trash its just not nice to go there. My hunting partner has a $1400 detector with the 6.5" coil on it and he came and started to work on the other side of the entrance and within a few minutes he was down on the beach because the :ranting:  trash was so bad he couldn't detect there and keep his mind. Well I don't have much going for me in the mind field anyway and I am also using 11" coil picking through that trash like I was doing the impossible according to my friend. I go looking for trash areas and am always amazed at how I can find those coins in the sea of trash. Remember El don't try this unless you are a Pro or drink a lot.

You have always told things like they really are..

Sure would take a lot of booze for me to get the "Pro" Idea though LOL

And I'm going to be stuck doing it with a Digger in my hand ( Just isn't right) LOl hahahahahah

Elton nice to see you here. Don't tell anyone on the FT forums, but I've been playing with my AT Pro for about three weeks now. I hunted it hard yesterday, took it to several hunted out (by me - LOL_) sites....I mean really hard hunted sites by some of the deepest seeking, iron vetting, fastest response time machines out there, and I found stuff they missed! While I didn't make any spectacular old silver coin finds or such, I found some nice relics at my adobe site that hasn't given up anything for a while (even got a 1937 wheatie there, but it pales to adobe period 1841 seated half dime I found there last year). I got a nice green teens wheatie from another hard hunted little site, and it was next to a big ole piece of iron. Going slow it was a decent signal, not a four star give me mind you, but good enough to dig. It was about 7-8" deep, I thought for sure it was going to be an 1800's Indian head when I saw the green disc at the bottom of the hole, but it was a deep wheatie.

While I haven't been able to confirm that the AT Pro is a depth demon in my haunts, it does do a pretty good job. It seems to hit very nicely on silver (surprising for a 15Khz machine), and is very good in iron, although if you're in an iron field trying to grasp any non-ferrous signals mixed in with the jambalaya of rusted oddities, you're bound to dig a few pieces of iron in the pursuit of that masked silver :detecting:
