tabman, this tools looks very nice but not so solid - is it good on hard soils? also you need power on the wrists, had a operation on my right wrist last year, so a spade with a long rod works better for me. Thanks for the pictures! :clapping:

Well it doesn't work as well as shovel, but it's doesn't attract a lot of attention. It works amazingly well in all but the hardest soil. The 18 inch handle gives you plenty of leverage and the blade's shape allows you to dig deep holes with ease. The modified t-handle allows you to push down with all you weight with both hands. I have a couple of Lesche hand trowels, but I prefer using my modified Wilcox trowel.
