Tejon vs. Garretts GTp 1350

Joel Georgia

New member
I mainly coin shot but i want a detector that can reach those deep coins.
I also relic hunt but not as much as coin shoot.
What you guys think?

It will take a little time to learn the language of the tejon. But i promise you it will smoke the 1500.Just listen for the smooth warm sound, and the deep coins will be yours.....hh kd

Joel I would stay with the Tejon. I don't mean any disrespect to Mr.Garrett but I don't feel there is any Garrett that will out do the Tejon or most any other Tesoro. You have a fine instrument in the Tejon Joel and you know when you have a coin by that mellow but encompassing sound! So hang on to that Tejon because it will do you right. God Bless Joel.

The GTP 1350 will not find coins deeper than the Tejon.
The GTP has more features (Display with notch...) and if you have the need to use them it may be a detector for you.

Nobody can answer your question better than youself. Does the GTP 1350 have features YOU want and need ?
