Tejon - Good for militaria ?

Hello,
I'm gonna search a good and powerful detector for WWII militaria on battlefields in Europe, and would like to know if Tejon could be a lucky choice.

I'm afraid that is too sensitive and make me dig every little iron shrapnel.

Let me know.

Best regards,

Ale

The Tejon is very powerful and you will be able to tell the difference between iron and good targets. You will do very well with it.

Hi Akille,
The Tejon is very powerful and you will dig every shrapnell and grenade splinter.
I usually search WW I militaria in Italy and I always use C Scope (no motion).
If your targets are knives, rifles, grenades, things that are full of iron at great depth,
you need a C Scope 990 or 1220.
If your targets are little things, of a coin size, you need a md with a little coil, but I think you have
the XL PRO so you are ok.
My mds for militaria are: XL PRO with 600 Bluemax and C Sccope ( I have a 990XD and a 1220B).
Believe me, I tried almost everything, but a C Scope is what you need.

Thanx Guys for Your kind reply,

Ciao Margiop, nice to see You here! :)

Did You personally test a Tejon on a battlefield? I think that it should be able to discriminate bad iron...

I know that C-scopes are good for this kind of hunt, but it seems that cannot penetrate so deep in the ground.

Let me know.

Tak r.

Ale

I think that one metal can't do all jobs.
I found a lot of great things with my Cscope, I use my Tesoro Eurosabre and my XL PRO to discriminate bad iron, but they find too many shrapnells at depth of 20 cm or more.
Another aspect to be considered is that they are very strong in discrimination mode, so strong that you will lose knives, sipe, rifles cause to this skill.
I use them when I have to search a little area, usually where troops lived.
When I look for guns, gun parts and bombs in large areas I use Cscope.
It has not a good depth in little targets, but it reaches great depth on big ones.
I tried Tejon, it is too noisy between all that splinters, and if you discriminate them, you will discriminate baio, sipe, the best of militaria.
