T2 the relic monster

Well you did it Iowa!! Nice hunt (y) (y)

You had a good day but lost me with the heading that said T2 The Relic monster and then you used a Gold Bug Pro.

Which coil were you using?

My god. That’s because I posted the wrong dang video. 😆
the coil was the Cors Strike.

while I’m waiting on the right video to upload, I will say that I went to my test garden with the t2, boost process, and 60 sensitivity was able to get my 12” bullet. So I went to a high emi site and shot this video. The next purchase I will be making is a Cors Scout 12.5x8.5 coil for additional shielding and depth. The T2 is as deeper or deeper than the NoX on bullets in this dirt. And it’s much better at giving me clues on those frags and size of target. So this hunt was at 60 sensitivity.

What I said earlier still stands. Awesome!!

When you clean your minnies do they stay dark colored or lighten up. Around here they come out of the ground white
with the exception of a few. I imagine its all soil content related.

I have quite a few white ones. I have a few that are that lead gray still too. But for the most part the brown patina is the norm. It won’t come off with light brushing or water which is all I ever do. It can be flaked off with a toothpick to reveal the white and gray. I prefer to leave them however they come up out the dirt.

Thanks for the reply. Agreed on the cleanup less is better. I've just noticed over time that most of the southern region's
bullets seem to be that darker color. Oh yeah meant to say there are pewter reeds but I don't know the time line. HH and you're
doin well!!:clapping:

To clean bullets and even brass buttons I pour some hydrogen peroxide in a bowl and warm it up in the microwave. then put in the bullets etc. and then add a little baking soda. In short order everything is clean as a whistle, just rinse them of with clear warm water. This process does not affect patina or gilt. A bullet that comes out the ground with white patina stays white, the ones with gray stay gray. Here’s a before and after picture of some bullets I dug on a hunt last winter.
