Sure hope I can still detect

Just prayed for you brother, God speed on your healing whether it be divine, or by the surgeon's hands! You are in the hands of the Great Physician now!

Hi Rick ,
Been away from the forum for a while and come back to hear your heart problems !!.....So sorry to hear about this ....I will keep you in my prayers my friend ...... We're not getting any younger !!.....Hope you heal soon and your heart is strong as ever ...Sincerely, Jim

Makes my old heart feel very warm to know so many care. I sure hope to be around for a while and read some of the great finds being found around the country and sure hope to be one posting some great finds too.
The hardest part now is following the DR. orders as like many feel we can do more than what they say we can, or not do our exercises as we are suppose to do as we feel they are not that important or we can do more than we are suppose to do thinking more is better.
I will say I am lucky to have a wife, 3 daughters, 1 son and 4 grandsons that care enough to keep me on the right track right now.

Thanks again for all the well wishes and hope I can be around for many more years.

Rick

Hey Rick, Hang in there bud, I have had 3 heart attacks, 8 stints and a bypass. I walk 4 miles a day,mow and garden. And yes I get out and hunt, every chance, I get. Bought a used Minelab Excal.800, and this fall will, try it out down on the beaches in N.C. , where My son and daughter in law live. You will be hunting again, before you know it. Good luck and good health. Digginduck WV.

Good luck Rick, I'm sure you'll be back at it soon.

Rick you are in my prayers.

I went out for about a hour before I was getting tired to my daughters yard here in town as I just had to try my GT as it has been calling me saying it needs to get out for a walk. There is a ditch on the side of her house that had been cleaned out to help the water run and found 3 wheaties and a few pulltabs and a couple of old nails and 1 rusty bolt with a Ponds hand cream cover under it. The Wheaties were a 1917, 1919, and a 1926D and was hoping to see a IH as these all read 176-177 which is where the IH read too along with some of the early wheaties.
Felt good to be swinging the GT even if it was only for a hour.

Thanks again for all the well wishes from everyone, mean a lot to me..

Rick
