Sun Glare

I use a dust cover on my detector when detecting. It's great for protecting the screen,but on sunny days it can reflect the sun and make it quite difficult to see the numbers while swinging the detector. Has anyone experienced this issue and found a fix.

The only answer I can think of is just hunt at angles that don't create glare, usually you can turn just a few degrees and get the glare off.

Other than what was stated above, the only thing I can think of is trying to prevent scratching the cover while cleaning it.
Scratches and dust will make it worse.

Hi guys, try this. Cut the bill off of a old hat and fix it over the top the detector, this way you can lift or lower it and keep sun from blocking you.

Flintstone, I think it's worth a try. My biggest problem would be attaching it to the detector. Any ideas anyone?
