Summer has arrived with a bang! Sunny and 80 degrees today and supposed to stay that way for awhile. Maybe..

I can get my tired, old, scraggly, sickly body out there and do some beeping. Part of tomorrow is screwed as I have a doctor to see then an ultra sound to take. For the past two weeks or so I've had one doctor's appointment and one test right after another - sometimes two in a day. Be glad when all this crap is over with.and my body stops falling apart and someone finds out why. I'm severely anemic and taking shots for that. It was either shots or a blood transfusion but I lucked out and got the shots instead. Hoping these shots give me a boost of energy so I can beep with gusto. :) This stuff forces your bone marrow to produce red blood cells. Hope it produces gallons of them.

:usaflag:Let us know what you find. Have a good day !!

Hope you get to feeling better soon, Bill. Take care of yourself. Those iron infusions are better than the shots for getting your iron up, it just takes longer to go get the transfusion.

Me too. Got a slew of tests and appointments virtually every day this week. A real pain trying to keep track of them. I hate doctors and tests anyway and hospitals even worse. :)

My HMO will get the bill. If I had to pay it I'd be in the poor house instantly. My surgery two years ago rang up $75,000. My co-pay came to $450, cheap at half price. The prices these pirates charge is criminal. My wife has home nurses that come out twice a week and every time they step through the door it costs the insurance company $250. Biggest racket in the world aside from the thieving drug companies. My buddy had bronchitus and his antibiotics cost $50 per pill - $200 for four pills that the drug companies make for pennies each.

Bill.

I'll be okay, just a monumental pain in the rear. I'm just hoping to escape any kind of surgery or anything invasive. It's hell when your body just throws in the towel and starts falling apart.
