well being a union carpenter and the operators are going on striking Thursday ........looks like i will have some free time to swing starting Thursday...........hm-mm I will be in downtown Chicago............I guess I will have to go to the beach...hopefully I will strike it big.............punn intended

strike day 1 ............. 2hrs ......5pennies and one nickle



strike day 2........found a virgin beach .......and tore it up 30 quarters....... 26 nickels....(got very excited every time)........22 dimes ...and 71 pennies total of 11.71 my year to date was only 23.45 pretty good day silver earring..... silver heart pendant bronze or gold ring came up solid nickel hard to bend and is bent large star earring lined with stones prob junk .....large gold colored earring junk ......... surprised no one has worked this beach one of the locals from the nearby high rise said I was the only one she has ever seen there and Ibelieve her with all the darn nickels I found still could work another 1/3 of the beach....well I'm in trouble with the wife gotta ....get packed for camping will post pics after weekend(son has camera)
