Stock verses 5.75 coil

I read a lot of posts about using a smaller coil in trashy areas. Target separation, target masking, lower disc settings etc.
Instead of using the smaller coil in trashy areas use the stock coil for more coverage. Set the disc to iron and dig everything that repeats. Mind you, this would be at an old site where anything found would likely be old!

I think they ususlly say use the stock coil in less trashy areas for better coverage.

If you just want to coin shoot maby you wouldn't want to use time in the low or no descrimination settings.

Some people don't try to figure out what's going on under the ground but the trash can lead you to the goodies and it can interfere with you finding the goodies.

Ignore the trash if you want but understanding trash is a key to finding goodies. When you know the trash the goodies can then be identified more easily, some times.

The smaller coil allows one to detect less objects at one time or get between other objects increasing your finds in trash.

I just got my 5.75 afew days ago and I already think I'm an exspirt. You know what an exspirt is don't cha? That's a has been little squirt:lol:

My two cents
