Stinger + 4" Coil

Used my Stinger for the first time in maybe a year. With 4" coil went into a local park's bark chip area, found a dime and 4 pennies.

I read somewhere that the Stinger has proven useful in the TR mode on dry, nonmineralized beaches to search for gold jewelry. Of course, the 4" coil would not be the best choice. I also have the 12" concentric for such a setting.

Basically the old early Garrett Groundhog circuitry. TR mode is also good for ore sampling, checking mine tailing rocks for gold and silver. Terrible in highly mineralized grounds--may air test excellently, in ground can loose 50-70% depth.
Auto mode makes detecting less of a chore in TR mode. The Scorp will find stuff.
