Still riding the streak! 10k with ice and silver

Dig

Active member
Hello everyone! I just came out of the ocean and I thought I would post some photos of a couple of rings I pulled. The ocean was wavy as all get out tonight and it took some doing to stay on target but , I came away with this small 10k plum with diamonds and a super crusty silver ring. I dug a bit of change and junkers but all in all it was a great evening. My finds came from waist to neck deep and I was using the CZ 20 8" coil. HH my friends ...it's out there waiting for you.

Nice finds Dig. Congratulations. Have you found out any thing about your Excalibur problem? The finds you have been coming up with lately with the CZ have been great might wait till cool weather to fool with it. I should be down your way around mid-Sept. may have to shoot the old Excal. and put him out of his misery. HH :minelab:

Nice job there Rob.....John's Fisher is doing the job for you......one question though....how is John doing now that he has to settle for using his Excal II :punch: Hope that you all are finding some gold....even Mark :bouncy:

Hey pards! To answer your question, it is still in transit. I will make a post about the process for everyone for future use. I guess everything's a learning experience and hopefully mine may serve as a measuring stick as to what dealing with the " new" minelab will be like for future users.

You guys are Smoking us Oc boys.......I gotta take off sick or something

i thought my silver was black but dang dude

Actually that ring turned out to be 14k R.G.P.. It was so tarnished that I thought it was silver...after I cleaned it up I realized it was a plated ring.

Man, You just keep kicking it with the GOLD! Just one simple question and forgive me for asking but, did you state that your in neck deep water hunting at NIGHT? If so, hats off to you. I am a little to chicken to head out into the water at night, knee deep ok, waist deep at night or neck deep and I start getting a little concerned. BUT that said......YOU HAVE THE GOLD....AND I DONT.

Awesome job!

I get neck deep when I first start...usually in the early afternoon. When the day goes on and the sun sets, I am usually working hip to wet-sand. I don't mind sharks but, I don't want to shake hands with them either. I would never advocate neck deep at night (or even close to dusk)...to many things to go wrong and not enough people around to get help.
