While in a city/county park, it wouldn't hurt to wear a T-shirt that says: "Park Beautification Volunteer". After all, you will be removing trash from the site.

The orange vest is a great idea. Where do you find one. What also might work is one of those shirts that look like you have a very large gun stuffed in your pants
