Starting New Site for Beginners - Any Suggestions - ideas?

Verry good picture here and I see the trash piles you posted just to show you not only find the best stuff, but the trash to go along with it.
This hobby takes patience and determination to be successful plus some good luck too. Many think that detecting you can make a lot of money every time out, but they are going to be shocked when they only get a few pennies and a lot of trash. Some do well which is very possible, but not probable as they learn from experience.
I hope more will post some pictures of actual finds and some of the tips you have learned over time. As soon as I can I want to post some myself as I started in 1973 when I started at 25 and I am 77 now and have found some interesting things, my body is giving out so I may be just reading and enjoying everyone else finds.

The nicest finds are the people we meet and the friend ship we get plus the fresh air and the excitement of the next find.
