I found one stamped 14k Italy this week.Weight was 15.9 grams I thought this is my best find. Magnet would not stick to it. No flaky marks on it anywhere, but when I give it the gold acid test it failed. I went from :clapping: to :sadwalk: . I talked to another detectorist & he said in 30 yrs. of hunting all the ones he had found that said Italy were fake, but my son who worked in a pawn shop for 6-7 yrs said he had seen 14 kt. Italy that were real. I hope your necklace is real! HH!

She took it up to the jeweler to get the clasp fixed and to get it tested and it turns out that it is 14 kt. gold. It a bead and barrel white and yellow brushed gold chain with the small beads being polished diamond cut? Thing is she forgot to ask what the LSF stamp meant.
