Thanks Neil,
The X2 and the Sidewinder just came back yesterday from service.
First Neil, look,..........
I put a lot of time into cleaning and restoring this little machine "before I sent it in".
I have friends there, I couldn't send that machine in the way it was, it was terrible.
Anyway, this is how it looked when I sent it off......
Before.....
After........
I installed a toilet seat over the headphone socket.
I just,.......I just wanted the machine to know that the new owner cares.
I restored the housing because the Troy housings have a "drop in" battery compartment.
I kinda like that.
Plus Rusty at Tesoro has done a hundred favors for me in the past, so I gave a shot at saving the housing.
Both machines are here now and have been tuned in nicely in just the past few days.
I am going to sell the Sidewinder with the wide scan coil, Rusty said it's a very good set up for relic hunting.
