Spent most of theday at the hospital Having my angiogram and the results weren't pretty....

Uncle Willy
Good luck.Hospitals ain't so bad.Twice they saved me from taking the dirt nap. It's all in your attitude.I'm a R.N. and have worked in hospitals for a long time.Just think of all those old coins your going to dig when you get healed up.

Sounds like you will be in for a serious procedure. I had 2 heart attacks in 2003 and 2 angioplasties with stents done at that time. Hospitals are good places when you need repairs. The good thing about these procedures is that you feel almost instant results. One thing you can look forward to when you get older is doctors and hospitals.

I'll be praying for you. You'll be out detecting before you know it.

Howdy,
If I do the whole thing at once it's massive surgery and dangerous, like open heart but worse. Would be in ICU for a day and another five or six days in the hospital. The second part of the surgery if I do it all at once - they open my guts up and graft new arteries to my intestines so if it ain't critical I may do that part later. Compounding my problem is my quadriplegic wife and what to do with her while all this takes place as I would be laid up for two or three weeks. My sister-in-law is here now from California but she can't stay forever so I have that problem to contend with. It's a bummer.

You'll come out smelling like a rose. Don't give up your batteries yet Bill.

Hang tuff Uncle Bill. You are an inspiration to all of us. We know you will pull through this one.....:super:

Well shucks. I guess we'll need some more prayer. Take this time to try to dump the tobacco too. It couldn't hurt. I was a long time smoker too, I know how difficult it is.

I'll be thinking positive thoughts.
