I was out detecting the other day with the CTX-3030 and it just suddenly turned it self off. Has anyone else had this happen to them? If this has happened to other users does MineLab know what is causing it?

Welcome to the club. Sounds like the last ball in a pin ball game dropped. 3 times in 40 hrs hunting. Mine also froze up and could not be turned off. I had to pull the battery. Watch out in the field as the rubber gasket jumps out very easily!
