So where does the new Outlaw fit in????

I always recommend Tesero but at least they could give us the option for Multi Tones.
Put a switch on the detector to shut off multi tones if they must but give us the option already.

Personally I do not think the is any need for a new detector because I do not think there is anythink in the tesoro lineup that is really missing. UNless Tesoro decided to create a detector that will override something they already have.
Such as making the lobo lst waterproof.
Or making a vlf machine that combined what the golden has and adds adjustable ground balance.
I think the outlaw is just bringing back somethat many want but are getting hard to find. A good working bandido.. but those in the mix are aging and becoming fewer in numbers.

People don't know what they're missing if they have never used a Bandido II uMax. It's puts a lot of the newer detectors to shame.

If the Outlaw is close to being anything like the Bandido II uMax, it will become an all time favorite for many users.

If things go as planed, I'll have an Outlaw in my hands Monday to compare against my Bandido II uMax.

Looking forward to your comments. I would have to think it's goin to be another home run for Tesoro.

I think the outlaw would be a nice compliment to my golden umax not to mention the coils interchange!!!

I have used both the bandido II uMax and the Vaquero, compared both against each other in quiet park soil. Both had the same depth on coins but the Vaquero went about 1-2 inches deeper on silver rings, depending on the size of ring.

Just ordered my first tesoro. Deleon. Truth is brand loyalty only goes so far. As u look through all the forums to see which brands have largest number of readers youll find tesoro not among the top read sites. They have ALWAYS MADE ONE OF THE BEST DETECTORS ON THE MARKET. With that said in this industry a company that wishes to claim its fair share of the market must stay up with the compitition! Talk to people like Andy Sabich and the truth comes out. Tesoros line up technology wise is DATED. I see many loyal tesoro people on here bristle up every time someone mentions tesoro bringing out something new that will peform pound for pound against some of the other companies. Especally in tough tough mineralized ground. Im buying the deleon for.my son at a really good price but when i was looking at new detectors last year i really wanted to invest in a tesoro for the lifetime warranty.but i just couldnt get the demo units to do as well in tough ground. I would Love to see tesoro bring up the tech on its detectors or at least come out with new flagship model for those who want to get a modern. tesoro detector. Now i hope u want bassh me to bad. Im new to this forum snd am just voicing my openion.

Congrats Jmann, I know the Deleon with treat you and your son right, PhinBolt is the master of the Deleon I would pick his brain for pointers, again congrats for getting your first Tesoro ! HH tigerhank68:tesoro:

Jmann, maybe I'm just missing something. I got a nice high tech Gold Bug Pro and Teknetics Omega leaning up against the wall gathering dust and just recently sold a White's M6. I'm out having a ball finding lots of good stuff with my Tesoro detectors. I'm getting where I dislike a digital readout. I don't find as much good stuff with them, because they talk me out of digging and slow me down. My Eldorado was in some thick trash today. My back was really sore, so I turned up the discrimination to knock out pull tabs. I got a solid hit and when I dug the hole, out popped a pull tab. I was shocked. I stuck my ProPointer back into the bottom of the hole and it started beeping, so I dug a little deeper and out pops a clad dime (it could have just as easily been a silver mercury dime). Now what do you suppose the ID number would have been on a so called high tech detector?

No need to take my high tech comment personal its only my personal thoughts. I tried omega and thought it was slapped together crap! But again only my thoughts. Someone WILL lead this industry into new hights or depths and it will be those who arent afraid to push the technologies past the point they are now. I LIKE TESORO PRODUCTS. But tried several against my at pro and had no luck i MY SOIL. I wish u the best finds and happy huntin.

Nothing personal, I'm just stating my opinion.

A so called high tech detector would have given me some trash ID number that I would not have likely dug. :)

That only if u soley rely on vdi #s . Vdi is just a tool. Not to be used as ur sole source of deciding wheatber or not to dig. Some detectors vdi tool is better than others and audio on good units along with vdi help me decide wheather or not to dig. Mostly when they agree. But most people who use machines with vdi rely on it only as a percentage of there dig no dig decision. Jist think you might be known as silver man instead of pultabman if u had more tools built into ur detector.

Thats what i like so much about deleon. More tools in the detector. You dont have to look at the screen but i was hopeing for a new vdi machine from tasoro decause the quality is superb.

Can your ATPro can tell the difference between gold rings and pull tabs? NOPE

I really like the ATPro except for the fact it's out of balance and sometimes leaks and stops working when it gets wet.

tabman/silverman/goldman

I owne both the AT and deleon. Both a good detectors. My AT is just more versatile. But we will never accomplish anything making shots at each other lets agree to disagree and that way everyone doesnt have to know how childish we are. Im sorry if i said anything that offended u

Yeah, lets agree to disagree.:) Refuting your straw man argument is a waste of time.

BTW, I'm not in the least bit offended by what you think is the best detector for you.
