Smaller coil at a sweet site gave me my oldest BUST DIME yet...an 1820:clapping:

Bryce,

Congrats on the coins. Great finds. (always enjoyed being a Bust man myself) About that cool weather you're having. Wow, I would love to be hunting in that cool of temps. Here we had the hottest June on record with an average daily high of 93.1 with a rainfall of .93 inches. July was 101.7 with 1.02 inches of rain. Up until yesterday, August has averaged 109.6 with .16 inches of rainfall. Not a misprint, the average daily high for the first 7 days of Aug was 109.6. I haven't be able to dig in a while. I chisel stuff out of the ground.
Again, congrats on the coins and stay good and hydrated in those cool +90 degrees days.

PryorCreekJoe

PS The heavens have opened up the floodgates at 2:00 am this morning and has blessed us with 2.5 inches of rain so far and it is still coming down. Maybe it will fill up those 2 inch cracks in my yard. LOL

Congratulations Bryce on your shield nickle and the bust dime awesome finds to say the least :surprised: Truly a legend in your own time

I've been using the 6" excelorater at the old carnival grounds and doing pretty good. Im glad u tipped me off to that one. Cool dig on the bust dime buddy.

Nice finds buddy. Tell your friend there's a bag of little chocolate covered donuts for him if he invites me along next time. Well maybe half a bag because I'd probably eat a few myself.

Let me know if you want to hunt this weekend.

I like that shield nickle also. I have only found one shield nickle since i have been detecting.
