Sledding hill

I got out to a nearby sledding hill for a while yesterday afternoon. The snow was mostly melted off the hill but it was still snow & ice packed at the bottom. Hadn't been there long when a park employee stopped his truck and asked me if I would try to find some lost keys. So, I got sidetracked for about an hour looking for the keys. Then the Park Ranger stopped to chat for a while. Never did find the keys but I did end up with 8 qtrs., 4 dimes, 1 nickel and 4 pennies.

The snow and ice had no negative effect that I could see on the V3i and 10x12 SEF combo. I do need to get some waterproof digging gloves and better knee pads.

I hope you all are getting out once in a while this winter. Come on Spring!

I got a call about a month ago, My buddies boss lost his wedding ring right before a snow storm. Long story short i found it.. Good to see some people are getting out. I don't think a back hoe would brake through the ground here in N.e. Pa.

Ha ha! I hear you on the backhoe. Today we have sunshine but still cold. Tomorrow it's supposed to be near 40 & sunny again so I might try to get out in the afternoon.

Congratulations and good for you on finding the wedding ring. It's always nice to be able to help someone out plus you probably scored some "points" for your buddy with his boss.

Good luck Jim. I hope you can get out soon.
